What I do
I work where technology, processes and people come together. Sometimes it starts with an idea, sometimes with an established system and sometimes with the words: “There must be an easier way.” That’s when things get interesting.
Areas of work
I combine development, consulting and responsibility as parts of the same task: building something that people can understand, use and operate reliably over time.
I design and develop web, desktop and database applications, interfaces and technical platforms. I focus on clear structures, sensible boundaries and architecture that will stand the test of time.
For me, digitalisation is a means to an end. I first examine how work actually happens, identify unnecessary friction and develop solutions that simplify tasks, prevent errors and make information more useful.
AI becomes interesting when it provides practical help. I develop and implement solutions that make information accessible, ease the workload for teams and fit responsibly into existing processes.
I translate between business departments, management, clients and development teams. This turns differing expectations into shared goals, sound decisions and projects with a clear direction.
Good software is not finished when the code works. It needs to feel right, remain understandable and avoid burdening people with its own complexity. That’s why I see product thinking and UX as integral to technical quality.

Astro, TYPO3, Symfony and WordPress — from lean websites to extensive web applications.
Many years of .NET and C#, preceded by Delphi — for applications shaped around their users’ everyday work.
SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MariaDB — data models and queries as a solid foundation for good software.
APIs, interfaces and automation — helping systems work together rather than in isolation.
How I work
Good solutions rarely come from reaching for the next framework as quickly as possible. They come from clear questions, honest decisions and implementation that keeps the essentials in focus.
What is the actual task? Who will use it? And how will we know that the solution really helps?
Make requirements, dependencies and priorities visible — turning complexity into a shared plan.
Develop pragmatically, validate early and invest in technical quality where it makes the greatest long-term difference.
Introduce, explain and develop a solution so that people adopt it and can rely on it in everyday work.
